What is the approximate distance between the point (-13,8) and (206,196) in the xy plaine A 219 unit B 269 C 289 D 299

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can use distance formula to solve this which is \[\sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So just plug in your numbers and solve

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

yes ^^

OpenStudy (photon336):

just make sure you chose your x1 and x2 points and be consistent about that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes that is a good thing to watch out for make sure you take the sub1 points from the same point and the sub2 points from the same point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got A don't know if this right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm not A check what you're plugging in I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):
