Can someone help me with a few questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Part A: Write an algebraic expression for 4 more than 3 times a number. (5 points) Part B: Write a verbal expression for 2(n + 9). (5 points)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so a number would be x, always start with that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 3x (x times 3(3 times a number))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 + 3x (4 more than (other number))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for part b, do the opposite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n would be a number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so2 times 9 more than a number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2*
