@ganeshie8

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

whats the area of one triangular face ?

OpenStudy (mythorius):

Is it the same as the last answer? or is this a different method?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

answer is different could you answer my question ?

OpenStudy (mythorius):

is it 4*3/2? if so the area is 6

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Nope, it is an equilateral triangle. So you will need to use the area of equilateral triangle formula

OpenStudy (mythorius):

6.93 is what i get

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

area of one triangular face = \(4\sqrt{3}\) since the pyramid has 4 faces, the total area is \(4*4\sqrt{3} = 16\sqrt{3}\)

OpenStudy (mythorius):

27.71

OpenStudy (mythorius):

oh wait, isn't it 16 sqrt 3?

OpenStudy (mythorius):

Thank you for helping again Ganeshie, can i tag you in a few more in a bit?
