Can I have your opinion on Animal testing? with any pros or cons to it

i also agree that animal testing cruel and shouldn't be done, it's like taking a person and testing the type of drug on them to see how they react, and animals don't have a voice so we have to speak for them

Well it is as inhumane and wrong as you think it to be..
but this cruelty has been very beneficial to mankind in many ways, so it can not be all that bad, I think the limit goes what's necessary and what's not.. testing make ups or medicines.

Yes it is cruel and should not be done. Imagine this......

You are in a movie theater and you are randomly taken out and got tested on a drug to see how you react. The drug had a bad outcome and killed you.

im just being the devils advocate a i agree its wrong but some of the drugs they are testing can save thousands of lives human lives. lets just say your best friend had cancer and they had a experimental cure would you want them to just give it to him/her or would you like to know its safe and wont kill you or have horrible side effects that can kill your friend. in that way id rather have animal testing than finding out any other way that a drug is harmful.

i think a pro is that u can test on animals responsibly that is one thing of power that most people abuse so they go out of control with it hope this helps
