alex purchased a 6-hour calling card. he had use t minutes of access time. write an algebraic expression to represent how many minutes he has remaining and identify the units for the expression. Can you explain it step by step? medal and fan.

Alright, so we know that Alex purchased a 6-hour calling card. We also know that our answer has to use the variable t to represent how many minutes he has left. So now we have to figure out how many minutes our in 6 hours: First, we know that there are 60 minutes in a single hour. If we have 6 hours, what can we do to find how many minutes are in that? Multiplication. We can multiply the 60 minutes in a single hour by the 6 hours to get the total amount of minutes in 6 hours, which is t: \[6*60=t\] As for the units, those really don't matter when trying to solve it. But just for the sake of it, it would look more like this: |dw:1460768003948:dw| Hope that helps! Cheers! ^_^
This helps so much thank you!!:)
