okay for example lets take this as our 4 quadratic trinomial -
\(4x^2-4x+x-1\)
factoring by grouping-
\(4x(x-1)+1(x-1)\) => \((x-1)(4x+1)\)


now take this as our examle for a 3 term quadratic polynomial-> \(2x^2 -x -1\)
factoring by grouping-
\(2x^2 -2x +x-1\) => \(2x(x-1) +1(x-1)\) => \((x-1)(2x+1)\)
