Okay okay. so I would say something like
The messages would differ because there are 2 different intended audiences that you will be writing to. With your friend you can just cut it to the chase and you don’t really have to explain much, but with your teacher’s you have to be polite and understanding. You wouldn’t joke around or use inappropriate wording with your teacher’s, but when talking to your friend you wouldn’t really hold back.
