Can someone PLEASE help me for gosh sakes! I never get help when it comes to math, someone looks at it, then skims through it, then leaves me there to get a bad grade. ?
i can help
@rebeccaxhawaii @ShadowLegendX
I can help! :)
Okay. What part do you need help with
im coming
Part A.

Her*
Omg! Sorry!
do you part a b c or d
I said A.
Sigh. No help?
What do no about box plots?
Personally I find box and whiskers stuff horrible maths :P But I shall make an effort to help miss desperate here ^_^ How may I help?
They over lap at maximum and the first quartile.
Correct?
Yes but how do I describe it
Well you start by saying the 7th grade maximum is 26 And the 8th grade first quartile is 26. Making the 88th grade scores higher then the 7th grades.
First off, you may need to look up some terminology to understand what is called for here. What does "IQR" mean? Interquartile range. So, my first question would be: What is the formula for finding the IQR of a given box plot?
Actually, I just need to grasp the information in part A).
Are any of the other terms unclear? If so, please look them up; if that doesn't completely clear up their meanings, let's then discuss them. This problem focuses on the skill of being able to read graphs to obtain info about data sets: the min., the max, the median, Q1 and Q3, and the IQR.
To answer A, you need to understand these concepts: min., max., Q1 and Q3.
Can you clear up what I must do to find or discuss why and what overlaps? What is is asking me, I am confused
@mathmale
I think it's enough to just state that there is an overlap
If you want to state a reason, then answer this question: why in general do 8th graders recieve more texts than 7th graders. Also you can say that, what the most "social" 7th graders are about the same level as the least "social" 8th graders
