OpenStudy (kaylee04):

Jack and Luke were wrapping presents. Jack was able to wrap presents at a constant rate of 3 presents every 15 min. Luke was able to wrap presents at a constant rate of 5 presents every 20 min. Each boy had 20 presents to wrap, and the boys started wrapping presents at the same time. (b) How fast does each boy wrap presents? Find each Unit Rate.

563blackghost (563blackghost):

To find the unit rate you would divide the minutes over the presents to find out how fast it takes each of them to wrap one present.... \(\Huge{Jack:\frac{15}{3}=unit~rate}\) \(\Huge{Luke:\frac{20}{3}=unit~rate}\)

OpenStudy (kaylee04):

ok so divide?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Correct ^^

OpenStudy (kaylee04):
