Which is the correct way to edit the sentence below? I visited uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest. A. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a Doctor in the midwest. B. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest. C. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a Doctor in the Midwest. D. I visited uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest. ***I'm getting stumbled, should Doctor and Midwest be capitalized? *** I think the answer is C. Thank you.♥

OpenStudy (morgan_4):

The answer is B. "Uncle" is capitalized because it is a part of the name "Uncle Bill". Doctor doesn't have to be capitalized in the sentence because it is just a noun. For example, if I was a doctor, I would be addressed as Dr. Morgan. I hope this makes sense. :)
