Well I posted a question asking someone to help with my math. I got three answers right away, but all were direct answers. I waited until I got help from someone NOT through a direct answer. They had to same answer, but they explained how they got it. Well I picked that answer, and all four people were wrong.
I'm sorry you experienced this. Report direct answers but for the one who explained their work.. well theres not much you can do about that
when u experience this, if they are new users, simply PM them that giving direct answers aren't helping the users, if they continue to do so, then report them, don't "threaten" to report them tho.. but if you feel like they aren't adequate help, u can use owl bucks to ask qualified helpers or u can tag any qualified helpers that are online, they will be able to help you, a lot of green users may be able to explain adequately as well.. but remember we are volunteers and have other things to do, so please be patient! I hope you have a nice day :)
@blm1 Im sorry that happened! :(
I'm curious on what the problem was. I don't know why people would answer a question they don't 100% know. That hurts the asker in learning
