OpenStudy will not ask for your home address unless you they decided to make an official t-shirt and you want to buy one.

However, OpenStudy collects your ip address. (Every website does.) And this ip address gives us a rough idea of where our users are located. ip address do not give us the exact location but narrow it down to a city. :P
