See cheating is so bad to me because what that person doesn’t realize, it’s more than just she’s a dime a dozen girl you betrayed her love that she’s given you in more months than she did in one night. For the woman it’s the years of her youth she gave affectionately to you her “living waters” she’ll have lost to time than the girl who gave you mere hours she can reclaim in a day her warmth, blanketing embrace when she wraps her arms around you and graces your cheek with an intimate, honey dipped kiss that gestures her love you traded for the buttery smooth silken dipped words of a temptress. You betrayed her trust a fragile and gentle thing that shatters easily as glass, every time you lied as she gazed into your eyes and found the hope she lost, when she looks at your face the sun that brightens up her day instead of counting stars she counts the hours and minutes she spends with you to sleep and awaits each sunrise in anticipation of you. When she grabs your hand firmly the safety she feels is overwhelming, when she lays her head upon your chest the security you provide its not the fact that you take her to on dates or even wear clothes she takes to heart it’s the “I love you” she cherishes from you that breathes life into her every time. But when you cheated on her and she finds out you didn’t just break her heart you stopped it the face where she found hope only contempt and anger now, the name which echoed through her very fiber and soul now brings darkness and venom, your eyes she despises you sit upon a “throne of lies” a thorn in her side. A pain worse than labor and a end worse than death you’ve given her a guilt you will live with and a broken vessel you created as her soul becomes undone the tears fall like raindrops. To finish her off she cuts with every drop of blood relief is found in this beautiful pain she now knows this is why cheating is so bad you didn’t just break her heart you broke her soul.
