Everyone should have gotten an email (in your regular email address) telling you to put in your birthday or else your account would be deactivated. They give you 30 days. I just wanted to let everyone know so ya'll wouldn't have to leave OS. 🙋 I hope I helped! 🏼🙂
Plus you guys are too awesome to leave 😉
haha thank you :)
thanks for the reminder ^-^
YW 😉
why do they need your b day
Methinks to ensure that all the users are legal to be on the site @booknerd1234 ;P
Probably to be sure you are 13 and older because there are obviously a lot of younger kids that shouldn't be on here technically.
so true but some poeple could lie
The link is a link to OS. And the subject line is very suspicious.
^
What should the subject line be? I am sorry it sounds suspicious! (-:
I know its kind of weird, but I see kids on here that are around 11 years old, and technically you have to be 13. We would love to know more about you! Hi (your name)! We've known each other for so long, yet we don't even know your birthday! We need you to complete your OpenStudy profile, because otherwise we have to delete your account permanently! To save your account, follow this link, login, and fill out your profile information. This is really important. If you don't update your profile information within the next 30 days, then we have to delete your profile and all your information will be gone. We would miss you terribly if that were the case, so please update as soon as you can! Hoot! Hoot as Always! Owlfred and the OpenStudy Team * No duck-hamsters were harmed in the creation of this email.
lol are u sure the hamsters were safe XD
Yeah they said so XD
thanks for everything!!
I logged out and logged In but no email or a letter giving to me?
Thanks!
@Tennis5518 try checking your email you registered with when you started OS. Look in your spam as well as your inbox. If you still don't see any messages from them, try using a different browser.
I did and I will try a different brower than! Thxs :3

We could explain the situation in the email itself and clearly state the loss of their account if they do not update.
Subject line is OPS
Gmail marked it as spam
