A 2500 pound tractor and trailer sits on a ramp inclined at 22°. Assume the only force to overcome is due to gravity. Using vectors, find the force required to keep the tractor from rolling down the hill.

Let's try to make a free body diagram. it's probably best to chose the direction of motion as positive in this case it's going to be down the ramp. and up is negative. well it all depends. here's a good overview of the forces acting on this trailer.
