First, ignore the term polygon. This is obviously a triangle, way easier than any other polygon. :)

Okay, because the main triangle is split into two smaller triangles, we know (through trig rules I can't remember) that both slanting sides of the man triangle has a length of 5 units. Good so far?

So, then, using the Pythagorean theorem, that the side with the hash through it has a measure of 3, and since there is two of them and they are exactly the same, we know that the base of the main triangle has a measure of 6. Therefore, we have the length of our three sides: 5+5+6!!
