would you recommend the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck? why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend the book. It's a beautifully written novel that has an interesting plot. The two main characters, George and Lennie, have an interesting relationship with one another and is overall very interesting. Lennie has a mental disability, aka, he's retarded, but in the 1930's (The setting of OMAM) they weren't aware of such disabilities which causes many problems through out the book.
