TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
You can plot the point (0, -7) and then you can plug in another value into the equation and find the y-value. You then plot the two points and draw a line between it.
OpenStudy (pphalke):
hw do i plug in another value?
TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
plug in x = 1
or x = 5
OpenStudy (pphalke):
so how would i do that to y=x-7
wouldnt it be 0=1-7? or 0=5-7? right
TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
yes
and then you get:
(1, -6) and (5, -2)
and you have to draw a line through the points
