@Adrianna.Gongora @across @drawwithapurpose

OpenStudy (stormer15):

What are we trying to find?

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

the value of X

OpenStudy (stormer15):

\(4x=2y-x\\5x=2y\\x=\dfrac{2}{5}y\)

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

can u explain ur equation

OpenStudy (hyperpiper):

hey I showed up. sorry it took me so long.

OpenStudy (stormer15):

Vertical angles are equal so 4x = 2y - x combine the x 5x = 2y get rid of 5 so divide by 5 x = 2/5y

OpenStudy (hyperpiper):

nope sorry, i dont know how to do this :/

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

so I do 2 divided by 5?

OpenStudy (stormer15):

yes to get rid of 5 from x

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

2.5 that isn't the final answer though right?

OpenStudy (stormer15):

-.- x = 2/5y
