OpenStudy (ineedalotofhelpplss):

Point O is the center of this circle. What is mBCA? A) 56° B) 62° C) 72° D) 76° https://cdn.ple.platoweb.com/EdAssets/e5c5e05ad9ba4102bcd6eaf8bc2856fd?ts=635387446429200000

OpenStudy (ineedalotofhelpplss):

@RhondaSommer

myininaya (myininaya):

is anything else given ?

myininaya (myininaya):

also I assume they are asking for the measure of angle BCA

myininaya (myininaya):

I was thinking about using the following \[\text{ angle formed outside }=\frac{1}{2}(\text{ difference of intercepted arcs })\] but lack one more piece of infor to use this formula

OpenStudy (ineedalotofhelpplss):

No more information was given :/ @myininaya

OpenStudy (peachpi):

BO and BD are perpendicular and AO and AD are perpendicular b/c radii are perpendicular to tangents. BOAD is a kite, so all the angles add up to 360°. The only angle we don't know now is <BOA. Once you find m<BOA that will be the measure of arc BOA

OpenStudy (peachpi):

sorry arc BA

OpenStudy (ineedalotofhelpplss):

I'm looking for BCA though @peachpi

OpenStudy (peachpi):

arc BA is the intercepted arc of the inscribed angle BCA
