Question

I think some midnight's are very romantic poetically and I find it a great joy to express this romanticism from a perspective of metaphoric bliss.

Please leave any thoughts or critical feedback. :)
Every poem I post on here is for a book I'm writing, so its vital to get everyone's thoughts.

THE SLUMBERING MIDNIGHT

Midnight has arisen
from its slothful slumbers
Proudly displaying the pass of clouds.


They rock like silhouette's
on masterful bays
So that ships may pass through and out.


The thoughts in the grey
above are so of sudden serious
How leaving so the moon
in its frownful face of curious.


The smoking chimney's and roofs
underneath so dark
they quiver like unsteady arrows.


Make it that one breath
will topple them
and awaken the snoozing of the sparrows.

(but seriously) ahhh I LOVE IT! You're writing never ceases to amaze me! I love the word choice too, especially how you used "snoozing" instead of just "sleeping". I feel like it fits in really well. I love everything having to do with midnight in general, AND THIS IS AMAZINGGGGGG.
That must be quite a killer book you're writing XD
