When I logged into OpenStudy, it asked for how old I was. Why is there not an optional choice?
There is no optional choice because its to prove that you are 13+
But not everyone on this site is 13+ why does it matter so much?
It matters because this site is intended for users that are 13+ years of age. Any registration by, use of or access to the Site by anyone under 13 is unauthorized, unlicensed and in violation of these Terms of Use.
Really? You have to be 13+ o-O Hmm, well lucking I am 13+ So what happens when a person says they are under 13 Will they be kicked out?
Yes, all of this information that I am giving you is in the Terms and Conditions: http://openstudy.com/terms-and-conditions If a person enters a birth date that is not 13 years or older, there account will be deleted. This is for new and current users as well.
Dang, that's harsh. ._. Good grief... But what if they're 12 years old. And like... why is this site only targeted to help with middle school and high school?
Legal issues that's why..
xD I see...
OS wants to make sure that everyone is 13 age or more for safety reason. A twelve year old can lied their age unless someone caught them, and report them.
Also, why don't we have an edit button on our comments.
That I would like to know. I know when you ask a question you can edit it.
Yes, you can edit the QUESTION but not our comments...Like why do they do this to us ;-;
There is no edit button for our comments because someone can easily make a rude comment and then edit. This way people can't find out what you edited.
Or at least that's what I think..
@KendrickLamar2014 That make sense.
^
I was hoping it did.
