I really need help with this .-. 1. solve the system of equations: y=2x^2 - 3 y=3x - 1 2. how many real number solutions are there to the equation 0=-3x^2 + x - 4 3. Solve the equation by completing the square. Round to the nearest hundredth if needed. x^2 - 18x = 19 4. Solve. x^2-81 = 0 10. Graph the quadratic functions y = -2x^2 and y = -2x^2 + 4 on a separate piece of paper. Using those graphs, compare and contrast the shape and position of the graphs.
Please, post one question at a time. Regarding your first questions, I see you have 2 equations that begin with "y=" You could eliminate y by setting these 2 equations = to each other. Try that. Solve the resulting equation for x.
I tried that, but it didnt work.
i'd be glad to give you feedback if you'd please share your work. I need to see what you actually did to be able to explain why "it didn't work."
I had my boyfriend help me with it. I just need help with #10 at the moment.
