I'm really struggling

OpenStudy (pphalke):

OpenStudy (mallorysipp234):

slope! slope is also written as |dw:1461374851614:dw|

OpenStudy (mallorysipp234):

m means slope. (: so here, if youre running the side it will be 3, your rise is 4. Rise / run 4/3 is ur slope

OpenStudy (pphalke):

so my first line is (3,4)?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@mallorysipp234

OpenStudy (mathmale):

It's the SLOPE that is 4/3. You weren't asked to find a line. The line is already there, in graphical form.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

m=4/3 is your slope. Finding this slope was the sole goal of this problem. (3,4) and (4,3) are points, and are not relevant here.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Second notice: If you'd please stick with discussions that you've initiated, you'd likely get help faster and understand the problem solution faster. OpenStudy claims that you're "just looking around."
