OpenStudy (valvalval):

How does rotational kinetic energy of a marble at an incline can impact on investigation of a factor of height and its affects how far a ski jumper travels in the air. ( marble representing the skier in the experiment)???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I cannot understand how you worded this question

OpenStudy (scooby6363):

I also do not understand what you are trying to get at. The only thing I can give you is KErotational = (1/2)*(moment of inertia)*(angular velocity^2)

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

it should underestimate the ultimate length of the jump. as the thing loses PE and gains KE, some amount of that KE will be stored in the marble as rotational KE. to Eddie the Eagle, it would all be translational energy and would result in a longer jump, ultimately
