OpenStudy (thewiselord):

Is the universe finite or infinite? (Answer this question correctly and I will give medal and fan :) )

OpenStudy (thewiselord):

wow @563blackghost got lots to say huh?

OpenStudy (scooby6363):

Finite.

OpenStudy (thewiselord):

Are you sure @Scooby6363 ?

OpenStudy (scooby6363):

Yes. I always believed that once the end of the universe was reached there would be something else outside the boundaries of the universe whether it be nothingness or another universe.

563blackghost (563blackghost):

We dont know for sure....so there is no correct answer to this question.... But most theorist believe that it is in fact infinite since, we only visibly see 90 billion light-years across (which is the observable universe) but the keyword to that is the `"observable"` meaning that there might be more then what we see our selves...in my opinion I truly believe that the universe is infinite and that we have much more to discover about our universe...

OpenStudy (thewiselord):

unfortunately @Scooby6363, @563blackghost is correct haha

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I have been wondering about this question ever since grade school :P

OpenStudy (thewiselord):

same here... well sorta

OpenStudy (thewiselord):

hmmm @563blackghost that was interesting

OpenStudy (thewiselord):

Exiciting too

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Yes it is ^^ I was super excited by this news. Its amazing on how much `dark matter` these galaxies can have and that we might one day in the far future find out more about dark matter. ^^
