3x + -7x = -4x how would I do this?

You would wanna get all the X's on one side, wouldn't you?

Couple different ways you can do it, you can add 7 to the -4 and get 3 on the other side then divide the 3x by the 3 and get 1. Or add 3 to the -7 and get -4 and then divide the -4x by the -4 and get 1.
