@jhonyy9 @Scooby6363 @Mehek14 @563blackghost

OpenStudy (immanuelv):

what seems to be the problem?

OpenStudy (scooby6363):

Solve both equations into proper slope intercept form and graph them using either an online program or manual methods.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

At the point which these 2 lines intersect is the solution of the equation that is (8,4)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

x-y=4 x+y=12 first of all you need to separate the y on one side - try it and looke what will get in case of every two equations

OpenStudy (pphalke):

how do i do that @jhonyy9

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

y=x-4 y=-x+12

OpenStudy (pphalke):

i got that down but now the problem is graphing those on the line

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

like a first case give to x the value of zero so will get two separatly - different value for y - from this result that these two lines intersect the axe y on these two points this is clearly till this point ?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

yes i get it buti can put these into desmos and get the same lines
