Under ideal conditions, a yeast will produce a new cell by budding in about 30 minutes. Suppose a beaker contains 110 yeast cells. How many cells will it contain after 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours? 110, then 220, then 330 yeast cells 110, then 220, then 440 yeast cells 220, then 440, then 880 yeast cells 220, then 440, then 1,760 yeast cells

OpenStudy (caiti2024):

If the yeast produces 110 new cells every thirty minutes, then you would use the answer choice A.) 110, then 220, then 330. It would be 110x3, which is 330. :)

OpenStudy (caiti2024):

I mean that the yeast will produce 110 cells in 30 minutes, then 220 cells in 60 minutes, then 330 cells in 120 minutes.
