OpenStudy (pphalke):

please help i have no idea how to do this

OpenStudy (pphalke):

OpenStudy (pphalke):

please help someone

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

suppose u=x and v=y so do you understand it more clearly ?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

yea but how do i turn it into something i can graph do i plug those into the bottom equation or? i need two lines

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

y=x 3y=9x+36 how make the second equation for being a single y on the left side ?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

i dont know

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

3y=9x+36 3y=3(3x+12) what can you doing here with both sides ?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

i get 3y=9x+36

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

no divide both sides by 3 and will get y=3x+12 for second equation - ok. ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so than there are y=x y=3x+12 so what will get for y = ? than you give to x zero ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

in case of the first equation

OpenStudy (pphalke):

i dont know

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

why not 0=0 so this mean the point of origin in the system of axe xoy - yes ?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

oh oh y=4

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

in case the first equation

OpenStudy (pphalke):

yes but i need two lines like i said to graph

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

sorry - so one line will be the line what will intersect the origine for x=0 result y=0 too and will give to x=1 so result y=1 too and now just unit this point what result from coordinates x=1 and y=1 with origine - so this will be for you the first line ok. ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

y=3x+12 so in case of this second equation you give to x=0 will get to y=12 and for x=-4 will get for y=0 ok. ?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

what would the two pairs be for me to graph (0,4) and ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

no in case of second equation you have these cases points 1 (0,12) 2. (-4,0) clearly now ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

graph these two points and unit them for get the line
