OpenStudy (pphalke):

can you tell me how to make the second equation into x and y its confusing me

OpenStudy (pphalke):

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@563blackghost

OpenStudy (pphalke):

any idea on hwo to make the second equation x and y plzz

OpenStudy (pphalke):

*how

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@Directrix @fantageplayer

Directrix (directrix):

How does this graph on your homework work? Is it just graph paper.

OpenStudy (pphalke):

no its weirdly made but i just want to know how to turn a-3b=-3 into an x y equation and which would be x and y for desmos

OpenStudy (pphalke):

would it look like this? x-3y=-3??

Directrix (directrix):

I understand about the x and y. What I want to know is if the grapher on your homework page works like the graphing program at Demos. See, I think that might be what is causing the snafu. Is it possible for you to post a graph you submitted and were told it is incorrect?

Directrix (directrix):

>>no its weirdly made What makes it weird?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

i dont have one at the moment i need to know thr second equation is x-3y=-3? is that how to turn a-3b=-3?

Directrix (directrix):

a is shown to be on the horizontal axis so a will be represented by x. b is shown to be on the vertical axis so b will be represented by y. x = (1/2)*y + 2 x - 3*y = -3

OpenStudy (pphalke):

so i can put x-3y=-3 into desmos?
