okay so this is a system of linear equations. so you would take 4.85a+5.90b=948.35 
and the second equation you would take is a+b=178 
so lets let coffee A be are x value and Coffee B be are y value.
then you would solve the systems of equations and get (97,81) 
97 being the pounds of type A coffee 
81 being the pounds of Type B coffee
