@welshfella @Loser66 @mathstudent55 @mathmath333 @IrishBoy123 @agent0smith @Luigi0210 Can you guys help i am pretty much clueless....
Haha, calchater, fitting name.
Draw graphs and diagrams to help! :)
the first one looks like this |dw:1461702610543:dw|
I'm afraid you have to draw better than that. :P The correct points of intersections are kinda crucial...
when it was sober it looked like this https://i.gyazo.com/cc404263ee76835aa40e13e6c291c843.png
Yeah... use something better than hand drawn diagrams http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=region+bounded+by+x%3D36-y%5E2,+x%3Dy-6
And then you need to figure out which bit is the enclosed area and figure out integrating what with respect to what gives what areas
yeah i was going to screen shot it.... Hahahahah Irish XD
The first one is easy to integrate wrt y. It's a pain to integrate wrt x.
well it is enclosed at the points where irish has it so where do i go from there?
How do I go from there as far as solving for the area?
I got number 3. Just need help on 1 and 2
|dw:1461703300455:dw| not very clever but it should work Integral = top half in ie Q1 + that little triangle in Q2 + bottom half [ie Q3 + Q4] - bigger triangle in Q3
