Writing 8 Online
OpenStudy (cecil_the_weasel):

Is it even possible in this day and age to write and publish under a true pseudonym? With everyone and everything revolving around technology can someone remain a truly anonymous writer? In other words, could I pull a Sia and become a faceless writer? ☺

OpenStudy (nightcorenikki):

Yes you can, but you have to make sure not to put your real name anywhere near your writing in any sense. I do that with most of mine. My name isn't Nikki, but I put it so that my writing would be anonymous. Simple.

OpenStudy (cecil_the_weasel):

But could you submit your work, say, to a newspaper or magazine or would you need to be an independent author? I suppose that is down to the decision of the owner of the company. I can't see many businesses in this day and age wanting written articles or stories from an "unknown" source.

OpenStudy (nightcorenikki):

Well, yes. You could even tell the company who you really are, but put your pseudo in the actual story or article. I suppose it is completely up to the owner of whatever company though
