Try \(u=x^4\). Take the derivative to find \(du\) in terms of \(x\)
How do i remove the 3x^3 then?
\(u = x^4\) \(du=4x^3 dx\) \[\frac{ 3 }{ 4 }du=3x^3dx\] Then substitute into the integral \[\frac{ 3 }{ 4 }\int\limits \tan u ~du\]
but what is \[\int\limits_{ }^{ }(\tan(x))\]
