Is it possible to write a story that builds a strong connection to the main character without a name? If so, what way is the best way to do it?
What exactly do you mean by "without a name" are you asking if it's possible to write a story where the main character's name is unknown or something else?
Basically yes, I've not really tried it before so I'm not sure how to do it and build a connection
It's a very complicated thing, but it is possible. It all depends on what narrative you want it to be told in. Third person would be the hardest to achieve and just sounds down right weird when reading it. First person is the second easiest you would only have to worry about what the characters say when addressing or talking to the character. Second person is not common among actual stories, but is famous when writing fanfiction involving the reader, of which since not all readers have the same name an actual name will not be mentioned for the character.
okay, thank you very much. I'll try it with my next chapter in my story, which is actually being told from a couple persepectives.
