OpenStudy (richgall____):

A pair of equations is shown below: y = 3x – 5 y = 6x – 8 Part A: Explain how you will solve the pair of equations by substitution or elimination. Show all the steps and write the solution. Part B: If the two equations are graphed, at what point will the lines representing the two equations intersect? Explain your answer.

OpenStudy (richgall____):

only need help with part b

OpenStudy (jtug6):

You need to know where the two lines intersect, or in other words where they are equal to eachother. So perhaps set the two equations equal to eachother and solve for x?

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Why are you reposting the same question again? I was helping you with this where you first posted it.

OpenStudy (jtug6):

Oh. Sorry I wasn't aware.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Not your fault @jtug6
