Study the quote to answer the question: "The tracking of online activity is not just a privacy issue," claims activist Hughes, "But an economic and political minefield." What is wrong with the format of this quote? (5 points) It is missing one set of quotation marks. The word "But" should not be capitalized. It is missing an internal citation for the source of the quote. The comma after "issue" should appear after the quotation mark.

OpenStudy (xofallenangelox):

The second choice is right. Why? Notice the comma in: "The tracking of online activity is not just a privacy issue," ^^ That means that "But" should not be capitalized. Or else the sentence will look like this if it were put together: "The tracking of online activity is not just a privacy issue, But an economic and political minefield."

OpenStudy (dopeness_):

Yes, @xoFallenAngelox is correct. A little simple way to remember that is: If at the end of a quote and it refers to something someone said and it continues that quote, the beginning of the continued quote should not be capitalized.

@dopeness_ Yep! :D
