718/10 = 71.8


SOIL SAMPLE B

59 + 63 + 69 + 70 + 72 + 73 + 76 + 77 + 78 + 83 = 720

720/10= 72

(71.8 AND 72) IS THE MEAN,

I assume you know what "absolute deviations" are. I'm not 100% sure on that.

If yes, then you merely add up all the absolute deviations and divide your sum by the number of absolute deviations.

82 – 17.8= 64.2
90 – 17.8 = 72.2

43.2 x 2 + 44.2 + 47.2 + 52.2 + 53.2 + 57.2 + 63.2 + 64.2 + 72.2 = 540

540 / 10 = 54
