OpenStudy (weasel123):

Create a system of equations that includes one linear equation and one quadratic equation. Graph your system of equations, and show the solution graphically to verify your solution.

OpenStudy (weasel123):

using these: y=2x+2 f(x)=x²+4x+63

OpenStudy (mww):

Do you know how to sketch the two on the same set of axes? the first is linear. Find its intercepts and plot. For the quadratic, it's very far above x axis. Might be worth using wolfram alpha to show the graphs https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=sketch(y%3D2x%2B2;y%3Dx%5E2%2B4x%2B63) It is clear the quadratic increases too quickly to intersect with the line. Thus there are no real solutions.
