Please help! Will FAN AND MEDAL! The table of values below shows the rate of water consumption in gallons per hour at selected time intervals from t = 0 to t = 12. Using a left Riemann sum with 5 subintervals, estimate the total amount of water consumed in that time interval. a. 22.1 b. 34.8 c. 35.8 d. none of these

OpenStudy (aryana_maria2323):

do you have any idea @wolf1728

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

I don't understand how that table is written or organized. And I don't know about "left Riemann sums" either. Sorry :-(

OpenStudy (aryana_maria2323):

Do you know someone hat can help?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Hey

OpenStudy (mww):

All you need to do is find the area of left rectangles for each subinterval. Use some graph paper and plot the points. Then draw a rectangle from (0,5.7) from y=5.7 across, stop at x = 2 and go down. Do the same for the next pt etc.|dw:1462041570982:dw|
