What do u need help on ?
OpenStudy (pphalke):
OpenStudy (anthonyym):
You want to put it in slope intercept form y=mx+b first. So what would they be in slope intercept form?
OpenStudy (pphalke):
i have no clue
OpenStudy (anthonyym):
In other words, solve for y.

OpenStudy (anthonyym):
Get y by itself.
4x + 2y < 8
2y < -4x + 8
y < -2x + 4
Do you understand what I did?
OpenStudy (pphalke):
yes and for the other one?
OpenStudy (anthonyym):
You want to also get the other one in slope intercept form by solving for y.
OpenStudy (pphalke):
how do i do that and its asking me to graph
OpenStudy (anthonyym):
Putting the function in slope intercept form makes it easier to graph.

x - 4y > 4
Subtract x from both sides.
-4y > -x + 4
Divide by -4.
y < x/4 -1
The sign switches from > to < because I divided by a negative number.
OpenStudy (pphalke):
what do i pu into desmos to graph
OpenStudy (anthonyym):
Yes you could put it into desmos but you wouldn't learn anything.
OpenStudy (anthonyym):
Unless you already know how to graph linear functions and want to save time, use desmos.
