Question

I wrote (yet another XD) poem.

I was thinking about how many people I knew that could use some encouragement, and from that idea came this poem.
I hope you all enjoy, and feel free to leave feedback. I'd greatly appreciate it. ^_^

~Encouragement~

Here's a poem of encouragement for you,
Something to uplift your spirits after everything you have been through.
I see your suffering, I know your pain,
I see that smile that you always feign.
But here I tell you, don't ball your hands into fists.
Don't take a blade and slit your wrists,
Please put down that pill bottle,
Come now, don't doddle.
Put away that gun, toss away that rope,
I am here now to offer you hope.
You are loved, wanted, appreciated beyond measure,
To me, you are such a treasure.
That fake smile, that "I'm fine" should be a sin,
Because depression has taken your world for a spin.
I want to help, just let me in,
I can help you fight this battle and win.
I'm here for you, I've got your back,
In that way, I shall not slack.
I'll be your listening ear, I will sooth all your fears.
When you're crying, I'll wipe away your tears.
You always tell me you want to die,
You call yourself a mistake, but that is a lie.
You are beautiful, priceless, amazing, and show loyalty.
For one such as you, you deserve to be royalty.
Your laugh and your smile
Is your kinda style.
Don't try to fit yourself into their ridiculous ideal,
Do as you like, do as you feel.
You're your own person, you have your own manner,
And that is something you should hold high like a banner.
Be yourself, don't let others drag you down,
Keep smiling, don't frown!
They bully, they try
They do all in their power to make you cry.
But ignore them, and keep moving on, wear that smile proudly,
And keep laughing loudly.
They scoff because you're different, you laugh because they're all the same.
Continue to refuse to play that little carbon copy game.
Keep being yourself, keep being unique,
Because that is something that all people, at least once in their life, seek.
