so i know its convergent
A? bc of ∞
Yes its convergent Sum to infinity = a1 / 1 - r a1 = fist term r = common ratio
so i find that?
@jhonyy9
i think like before you can try it step by step 8 + (8*5/6 = 20/3) + (8*25/36 = 50/9) + (8*125/216 = 27*125 = 3375 +... so i think from these result that the 3rd and 4th you can eliminate sure - yes ?
yes i think and i agree your answer that is choice A. right
wait but how would you tell if you couldnt find the sum?
so bc. i=1 till infinite so from this result that the sum not can be founded - or not ?
bc. there are the first 2 choices with these possibilities - yes ?
so the ∞ is what makes the sum not found?
yes sure bc, we not can calculi the sum of these numbers - again - what begin with 1 and go till infinite - or you know a way what will give to you possibilitie to calculi one sum started with 1 and go till infinite ? i think not possibile
ok. ?
okay thanks c:
Rebecca please wait one moment i think i have missed anything
@rebeccaxhawaii
8 + (8*5/6 = 20/3) + (8*25/36 = 50/9) + (8*125/216 = 125/27) + .... 8 4*5/3 2*(5/3)^2 (5/3)^3 ... Rebecca how you see it now do you can continue it ?
what will be the next term of this line ?
sorry i have to go for now .. thanks for all your help though c:
ok. but hope you see about what i talking now here - yes ?
the next term will be 8*(5/3)^4 = 8* 625/81 =
