@ilovemath14 Okay, firstly I need you to help me out a bit. What are they specifically looking for when they want you to find the root word of a word? Do you remember anything you read about it?
I have a substitute teacher so idk anything @Atsie
can you please help me with page 2? @Atsie @Lowkey.S
On page 2 i need help with #5-#11
I'm still trying to understand the roots thing myself. So we can do page two first if ya like :) The 5th one, if quad means four then lets examine the options. We have a dog. A dog has 4 legs. We have an ostrich. An ostrich has basically two legs. And we have a fish. A fish hasn't any legs in the least, but rather has flappers to help them through the water. So I think this one is pretty obvious. :) Do you understand?
@ilovemath14 :)
I dont understand 1 @Atsie
Quad means 4. A dog is the only animal of those options that has 4 legs. The ostrich has two, and the fish has none.
No that that one the very first one on page 2
Oh, you said #5-#11. Well, with the first one unus means one. A and C talk about being a part of something and or stuck on something which doesn't fit the definition. Does it?
yes @atsie so is it C?
No, actually.Thats the opposite of the definition.
so its a A/
No that is also the opposite of the definition. I had stated that in the previous answer.
B?
Yeppers! :)
Thanks
