OpenStudy (princesssleelee):

If a parabola's focus is at (−3, −5) and the directrix is at y = 1, what is the vertex form of the equation representing this parabola? y=1/4(x+3)^2-2 y=1/12(x-3)^2+2 y=-1/12(x-3)^2-2 y=-1/12(x+3)^2-2

OpenStudy (princesssleelee):

Im pretty sure its C or D because the directrix is at -1 for A and B. However at -1 for C and D

OpenStudy (princesssleelee):

its at 1 for C and D. Sorry
