PLEASE HELP !!!! What would orthodontics fall under? careers involving pure research into new science, research and development of technologies based on new discoveries or advances in engineering, careers that involve improving the quality of life in the developing world, or careers that involve the maintenance and running of existing energy sources

OpenStudy (matthewdean64):

In all honesty, I am pretty sure orthodontics would be considered: "research and development of technologies based on new discoveries or advances in engineering", by process of elimination. This occupation does not necessarily involve the developing world (though it can) and at the same time not a cutting edge technology in research and development. Thus, I would place it closest to engineering and improving upon existing technology.

Thank you so much!

You are welcome.
