well irrational simply means a number you can't write that number in the form of 1) a fraction and 2) with the numerator and denominator being whole numbers and 3) denominator is not zero Examples of RATIONAL numbers: 3/7, 1.2, 3.777777777... For irrational, these are non-terminating, non repeating decimals, surds (square roots that can't be simplified into a rational number) and some trigonometric ratios etc. Stuff like pi, sqrt(2) etc.
