1. The invasive melaleuca plant has taken over a Florida wetland, absorbing a great deal of surface water that is needed for the growth of the indigenous and ecologically important cypress trees. While there are still some healthy cypress trees, they are beginning to die off as a result of being out-competed by the melaleuca. Is this selective cutting, seed tree cutting or clear cutting?
