OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

How is the electric field between parallel plates different from the electric field around a charged sphere?

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

@KendrickLamar2014 @Mehek14

@nuttyliaczar

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (gollywolly):

Well the field lines will be perpendicular to the plates instead of expanding in a sphere which makes them less dense as they move outward.

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

@gollywolly that's all!

OpenStudy (gollywolly):

Yeah. also the field lines from the pos plate point towards the neg plate and the lines from the neg plate also point towards the neg plate so you should have 2E.

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

thnx a lot

OpenStudy (gollywolly):

No problem, take care.
